Phrasal verbs

Phrasal verbs are the verbs + prepositions that have different meanings.

The verbs in phrasal verbs can be conjugated as per the tenses as in case of verbs but the preposition remains the same.

Phrasal verbs must be learnt.

They are conjugated according to the tenses.

Exercise 1

From the two sets of options below form the correct phrasal verbs and fill in the blanks accordingly to form meaningful sentences.

Options of verbs. (believe, fill, get, look, put, switch, take, turn, try)

Options of prepositions. ( down, for, in, off, on, out ) and form meaningful sentences)
